Storm Damage Roof Replacement on Anthony Lane, Orlando

After a storm brought a tree limb down onto this roof, the homeowners called JTO. Our inspection showed the roof was too old to repair reliably, so we replaced it with new architectural shingles and a continuous ridge vent.

Project Overview

JTO Roofing & Solar was called out to this home on Anthony Lane in East Orlando, near Rio Pinar, after a storm brought a tree limb down onto the roof. Branches and debris were still lying across the shingles when we arrived.

Why Repair Wasn't an Option

A tree strike on a newer roof can often be repaired. This roof, though, was already near the end of its life, and a patch on an aging roof would not have held up. Repairing only the damaged area would have left the homeowners with a roof that was likely to keep failing around the repair.

What We Did

We cleared the debris, tore off the old roof, and installed a complete new architectural shingle roof in a warm brown color, with a continuous ridge vent along the peak to help the attic breathe in the Florida heat.
